Please draw your attention to the following policies.

Tentative Bookings

Tentative Bookings may be made and these will be held for a period of (14) fourteen days. At this point you will be required to contact our Functions Manager to advise of whether or not you wish to keep the tentatively booked date, otherwise the booking will be cancelled and the space released.

Confirmation

In order to confirm a booking a deposit is required together with the confirmation form. Full payment of the function must be paid (7) seven days prior to the function date either by cash, personal or bank cheque made payable to Maria's on the Terrace Function Centre

Cancellations

We would share your disappointment if your function were to be cancelled. In the case of cancellations the deposit will not be refunded. Any function cancelled
> 2 weeks prior - 50% of the anticipated food revenue can be charged.
> Under 1 week - the total anticipated food and beverage account will be charged.

Final Numbers

Numbers must be confirmed (7) seven days prior to the actual function. Final increased numbers will be charged accordingly. We reserve the right to charge for meals prepared in accordance with the number guaranteed if less are served.

Children

Number of children and their ages must be given to the Function Manager (7) seven days prior to the function. Children twelve years and under are charged at half price with a child's meal being provided. Thirteen and over full price menus apply. Children must be supervised at all times to prevent any damage to Maria's on the Terrace.

Function Times

> Lunch Functions - may start from 12pm but are required to vacate the room by 4.30pm at the latest.
> Evening Functions - cannot commence any earlier than 6.00pm. All functions must finish by 12.00 midnight, after which a fee of $150.00 will apply.
>Special arrangements can be made on a case by case basis - please ask the Functions Manager.

Alcohol License

Maria's on the Terrace is a Fully Licensed Venue therefore: No alcohol or any other beverages are to be brought onto the premises. Our Liquor License is until the time of 12.00 midnight and service of all alcohol will cease at this time.

Price Variations

Every endeavour is made to maintain prices as printed. All prices are based on current and foreseeable costs, however they are subject to change at management's discretion to allow for produce availability, market cost variations, wage increases or any unforeseeable circumstances. All prices are inclusive of GST.

Displays & Signage

We request your co-operation and ask that nothing is nailed, screwed, stapled or adhered to any wall, door or other surface of the building without prior consent from management.

Insurance

Whilst we take all care, management cannot take responsibility for damage to or loss of any client property left on the premises prior to, during or after a fuction. We recommend that organisers arrange their own insurance if necessary.

Outdoor Balcony

Maria's on the Terrace does not take any responsibility for the behaviour of guests on the balcony. It is the client's responsibility if any items are thrown off and cause damage to the patrons that are dining in the restaurant below.

Cakes Provided by the Client

There is a $2.50 charge per person for the cutting, bagging and/or garnishing of all cakes provided by the client. Bages are to be provided by the client.

There is a $9.00 charge per person if cakes provided by the client are to be served as a desert in place of the venue's dessert.
